I have a friend who finishes her Christmas gift shopping in July. She also has her house fully decorated about 4 weeks before Christmas. I’m the opposite of that.
Anyone else only have their tree up and we’re about 10 days from the big day? Well, that’s something right? That’s what I thought too!

Christmas ornaments are a cheap and easy way to add holiday decor to every surface in your home. I love filling up glass jars with ornaments but you could use ornaments in any type of bowl or tray or even inside a decorative lantern.
Layer different shapes and use the rule of threes to add depth to your christmas decor vignettes.
Wanna make them fancier? Add a string of fairy lights and pine cones.
Hang a wreath from every window using a wide ribbon.

This is a super easy decor idea. You can use any type of wreath. Choose a luxurious looking wide ribbon and hang it from the top of the window to about eye level. Those 3M hanging hooks that can be easily removed are perfect for this!
You can use this idea to decorate your staircase as well. Just hang a wreath with a decorative ribbon every couple of feet up your staircase.
If your wreath is more on the plain side, add a bow to the bottom or add some ornaments to make it more festive. More is always more during the holidays, right?

If you’re a last minute decorator like me, my advice to you is buy lots and lots of greenery. Garlands are a great! There are so many ways to use it in different places around the home to create a cohesive holiday look throughout.
I love using real greenery vs. the faux, and I choose to keep my candles on the faux side. That way I don’t have to worry about anything catching on fire.
